A bit about myself... My name is Amanda Royale Davis. I used to attend San Francisco State University double majoring in Communication Studies and Psychology. But recently, I've decided to relocate back to SoCal and finish my degree closer to home. A bit about my tutoring experience: While living up in San Francisco, I taught as a Piano Instructor for K-5th graders with a non-profit organization called Keyboard Educators. Specifically, I assisted them with developing their musical abilities and talents. I also have experience in facilitating a music course in a structured environment to international students. I was able to guide and support each individual child with their unique learning strategy and brought them up to an optimal level that showed significant results. To sum up, I wish to become a tutor because I enjoy teaching and am desirous of our youth's success. My teaching strategy is that of a simple one: I explain things clearly and make difficult topics easy to understand. I adjust my strategy to each student's unique learning method.
