I am a graduate of Wright State University, Main Campus, with a master's degree in Chemistry. I love teaching Chemistry, but I have about five years of experience tutoring various Math and Science subjects. I have taught in high school classrooms, tutored at the university level, and worked as a graduate teaching assistant. Besides all Math and Science subjects, I can tutor Spanish, Psychology, American History, and test prep for the SAT, ACT, GRE, and MCAT.My tutoring philosophy focuses on communication and love of the subject area. I feel that a student who isn't interested in something will have difficulty mastering it. I am confident in my ability to give students an appreciation of the subject they are studying and to develop their thirst for more knowledge, so they can take their learning beyond the minimum requirements. This means that I can always teach students what they need to know and help them reach their goals. Since communication is vital to this process, I make sure that students can always access me by phone, text messages, or email.In addition to Chemistry, I am also interested in history, traveling, foreign languages, and fitness. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and canoeing.
