Experience
I began tutoring in high school for national honors society and California scholarship federation. At CSULB I tutored for Educational Talent Search and also tutored many students independently. In 2017, I was a volunteer teacher in Honduras for an organization called Bilingual Education for Central America (BECA). I created lesson plans and led classes for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade math. From 2018 to 2020, I taught English classes online (via Zoom) to English language learners in/from China. My goal as a tutor is to provide assistance with homework and studying for exams as well as provide students with a better understanding of a subject by breaking down difficult concepts.
